(5) Texture & Appearance
Quite attractive, and obviously natural product made from cutting up actual potatoes, leaving large ridges and curved chips. Slightly oily, leaving an obvious residue on your fingers. Soggy crunch which mushes up quickly.
(4) Aroma & Flavour
Very mild scent, and damp salt taste, probably from the leftover sunflower oil. Gentle vinegar quickly fades.
(5) More-ish-ness
Nothing stops you going back for more, but nothing really demands you do either. Way too easy to finish a packet and wonder what you ate a few minutes later.
(7) Packaging
Distinctive, substantial packet. Lovely shade of blue (is my love of S&V tied to blue being my favourite colour?) but maybe too easy to confuse with normal Kettle Chips. Feels like there's more packaging than contents.
(21) Summary
Not a crisp whose flavour makes your mouth scream (not a bad thing - sometimes you want a snack that doesn't grab your attention like a howling banshee), and pretty inoffensive. A fallback also useful for unusual party snacks.
